The fellowship has a higher bar to entry than the paid-for course - show us what/how you have learned and how you solve problems. We're looking for candidates with a real interest in coding and in technology, who are self-motivated, self-led learners with a real desire to become a professional software developer.
As there are limited fellowship places available on each cohort, successful candidates will be those who show a real drive and a passion to learn. We expect you to have dedicated a good amount of time to researching Makers and to teaching yourself the basics of coding already. We expect you to be familiar with Code Academy and CodeWars.
We look for people with good logical reasoning skills, an ability to form mental models, and the ability to deconstruct complex problems. We're also looking at your soft skills, empathy, communication, self-reflection and the ability to accept that getting things wrong is all part of the process.
