At Makers you'll start off my learning Ruby and we also introduce Rails and Java, however, our course isn't focused on teaching you a list of languages. Our devs are taught to be language agnostic. This means that after completing the course - you'll be able to work / code in any coding language.

How? We teach "learning how to learn". This means after teaching you the ground work, we teach you the skills to pick up any language you need to solve the problem presented to you. This is far more practical when going into a real working environment as at work, you won't always know the answer and you'll frequently be required to teach yourself new things to solve a problem.

Programming languages and frameworks fall in and out of fashion; the way we teach ensures our students have the skills to continually learn and stay relevant as a developer.

For more information, please check out our curriculum, and more about how we teach languages.
